Public Pool

Public Pool is a self-hosted Bitcoin mining pool server. It speaks the stratum protocol that mining hardware expects, which means your miners can point at your own MyNode instead of at a commercial pool somewhere on the internet.

Its main use is solo mining. Your hardware receives work built from your own Bitcoin node's block template, and if it finds a block, the entire reward goes to an address you chose, with nobody taking a cut and no account to register. The odds on small hardware are long, but the payoff is undivided and the setup is genuinely trustless.

It has become the natural companion to the open-source miner scene, particularly the Bitaxe and similar small ASIC devices, which are usually bought for the fun of running real mining hardware at home rather than for revenue. Public Pool gives those devices somewhere local to connect and turns the whole setup into something self-contained.

Because it runs on your MyNode and takes work from your own node, nothing about your mining leaves your network: no pool operator sees your hashrate, your hardware, or your payout address. Multiple miners can connect to one instance with per-worker tracking, and Public Pool UI adds a web dashboard on top.
