About
Public Pool UI is the web front end for Public Pool. The stratum server itself has no interface — it accepts connections from mining hardware and gets on with it — so this is the part that lets you see what your miners are actually doing.
It shows what matters on a home mining setup: which workers are currently connected, the hashrate each one contributes and the total across all of them, and shares submitted and accepted over time.
It also tracks the best difficulty share your hardware has managed to find, which tends to be the number people actually watch. Solo mining a block with small hardware is a long shot, so the practical measure of progress is how close you have come, and seeing that record improve is much of the appeal.
It needs a running Public Pool instance to talk to, and both live on your MyNode, so the dashboard is served from your own device with no third party involved in showing you your own mining statistics. Built as a lightweight Angular application, it works from any browser on your network, including a phone propped up next to the miner.
