About
PyBlock is a text-based dashboard for a Bitcoin node, presented through a menu-driven terminal interface with an unapologetically cypherpunk aesthetic. It is meant to be enjoyable to sit in front of as much as it is meant to be useful.
The main screen keeps the essentials in view: your node's block height and version, and the machine's CPU and memory use. A menu opens into sections for Bitcoin, Lightning, and various platform integrations, so you can dig into chain and channel details without leaving the terminal.
Because it is a terminal application it works comfortably over SSH from anywhere, including a phone, and costs almost nothing to leave running. It expects a node running both Bitcoin Core and LND, which is the standard MyNode configuration, and the developer has tested it specifically on MyNode hardware.
