Lightning Terminal

Lightning Terminal, or LiT, is a browser-based interface focused on the single hardest part of running a Lightning node: keeping liquidity where you need it. It visualizes your channels and balances so you can see at a glance which are drained, which are full, and which are doing the actual routing work.

Its distinguishing feature is bundling Lightning Labs' liquidity tools into one place. Submarine swaps through Lightning Loop let you move funds between your channels and the Bitcoin chain without closing anything. Lightning Pool lets you buy inbound liquidity when you need it, or earn sats by leasing your own capital to operators who do.

Channels can be classified according to how your node actually operates — a routing node, a merchant receiving payments, and a personal wallet all want liquidity distributed differently, and the interface reflects that rather than treating every channel identically.

It ships as a single binary that runs the loopd, poold, and faraday daemons together, which is why it is convenient on a MyNode: one service to start rather than four, all talking to the LND already running on your device.
