About

Mempool is a Bitcoin block explorer and mempool visualizer that shows what the network is doing right now — which transactions are waiting to confirm, what fee rates they are paying, and how the next few blocks are likely to be built. It is the same open-source software that runs the public mempool.space instance, developed for the Bitcoin community.

The dashboard puts the transaction fee market front and center. Projected blocks show the fee rate needed to land in the next block, or the one after it, so you can time a payment instead of guessing at it. Historical charts track how fees have moved over hours, days, and months, and the built-in fee estimator turns all of that into a concrete recommendation before you hit send.

It is a complete block explorer too. Search any block, transaction, or address and get the full picture: inputs and outputs, confirmation status, RBF replacements, transaction size and weight, and which mining pool found each block. Lightning Network pages map public nodes, channels, and network capacity, and an audit view compares the blocks miners actually produced against what your node expected.

On a MyNode, Mempool reads directly from your own Bitcoin Core and Electrum server, so every lookup stays on your device. That matters more than it sounds: checking your own address on somebody else's explorer tells that operator which addresses belong to you, and links them to your IP. Self-hosting removes the third party entirely.

It is a good fit whether you send bitcoin occasionally and want to stop overpaying on fees, or you follow the network closely and want a fast, private explorer of your own to dig into blocks and transactions.
