Web SSH

Web SSH, or WebSSH2, is a browser-based SSH client. It serves a terminal as a web page and proxies your keystrokes through to a real SSH session on your MyNode, so you get a genuine command line without installing an SSH client.

The practical value is access from devices where SSH is awkward. A locked-down work laptop, a borrowed computer, a tablet, or a phone can all open a browser, and that turns out to be enough. The terminal is a full HTML5 emulator rather than a limited command box, so interactive programs and editors behave correctly, and websockets keep typing responsive instead of laggy. Optional telnet support is included for older equipment on your network.

One caution worth stating plainly: a web terminal is a browser-accessible door to your node's command line. Keep it behind Tor, a VPN, or your local network rather than exposing it to the internet.
