Premium+ is a MyNode subscription service that adds backup, monitoring, and remote visibility to your device. Where the apps in this marketplace run on your node, Premium+ works alongside it — the pieces that are more useful when something off the device is watching and keeping a copy.

Remote Static Channel Backup is the headline feature. Your SCB file is rewritten every time you open or close a Lightning channel, and Premium+ encrypts a copy and uploads it to MyNode automatically. If the hardware fails or the drive dies, that backup is what lets you recover the funds in your channels — and keeping it somewhere other than the device it describes is the entire point.

A Lightning watchtower runs alongside it, monitoring your channels around the clock. If a peer tries to broadcast an outdated cheating transaction while your node is offline, the watchtower notices and responds on your behalf, protecting your balance without you having to be there.

Remote node monitoring lets you check on the device from anywhere by logging in at mynodebtc.com — Bitcoin sync status, Lightning state, which apps are running, and general device information, all without being on the same network as the node. Premium+ also renews the MyNode premium support that comes with every purchase and adds access to the support ticketing system, so there is a direct line when you need help.

Premium and Premium+ are separate things worth keeping straight. Premium is a product key that does not expire; it covers premium apps, one-click upgrades, and remote access over Tor and VPN. Premium+ is the subscription layered on top. If a Premium+ subscription lapses, Premium keeps working exactly as before — only the extras above pause until it is renewed.
